ZkAGI landing page case study

Turning a complex AI infrastructure product into a clear web experience

Role
Product Designer
Duration
3 weeks
Tools
Figma

Overview

ZkAGI was an AI infrastructure startup working at the intersection of AI, privacy and decentralised technology. This was a three-week collaborative project to design the landing page for the product, covering its structure, visual direction, and high-fidelity design.

The original design has since been replaced as the product and brand have evolved.

The Challenge

ZkAGI was working with concepts that could be difficult to communicate at a glance. The landing page needed to explain the product and its capabilities without overwhelming visitors with technical detail.

The challenge was to find a balance between technical credibility and visual clarity.

Design Process

  1. Product Understanding
  2. Content & Information Hierarchy
  3. Visual Direction
  4. Landing Page Design
  5. Responsive Design
  6. Iteration

Approach

We started by breaking down the product and identifying the information someone would need to understand it quickly. The page was structured to move from the broader idea to the product itself, gradually introducing capabilities and technical concepts instead of presenting everything at once. The visual direction leaned into the technical nature of the product while keeping the interface approachable and easy to scan.

Key Contributions

  • Designed the landing page experience from the initial structure through high-fidelity UI
  • Worked on the information hierarchy and content flow
  • Explored visual directions for communicating technical concepts
  • Designed product and capability sections
  • Created responsive layouts for different screen sizes
  • Iterated on the page based on feedback throughout the project

Outcome

The project resulted in a complete landing page concept that gave ZkAGI a clearer way to introduce its product and communicate its technical positioning. While the page is no longer live, the project remains a useful snapshot of an early exploration in designing for a technical AI product.

What I learned

Working on ZkAGI was a good exercise in making complex products feel understandable without making them feel simplistic.

It also reinforced how much of landing-page design happens before the visual design itself: deciding what information matters, what comes first, and how someone should move through the story.
